The Spit

The Spit is a beautiful stretch of coastline at the northern end of the Gold Coast, where golden beaches, coastal dunes and the calm waters of the Broadwater meet the ocean.

With wide open beaches, fresh sea breezes and plenty of space to walk and explore, The Spit offers a quieter side of the Gold Coast. From the shoreline, you can also enjoy impressive views back towards the Gold Coast skyline, creating a beautiful contrast between the natural coastline and the city's iconic high-rises.

It’s a great place to slow down, enjoy the coastal scenery and see a different side of the Gold Coast.
